Germán Berterame

Germán Berterame is an Argentine-born forward from Villa María who developed in San Lorenzo’s academy. He made his senior debut for San Lorenzo in 2016, appearing in the Copa Libertadores before gaining experience on loan at Patronato. In 2019, Berterame moved to Atlético San Luis, where he became a regular attacking presence and finished as the joint top scorer in the Apertura 2021 with nine goals. After a brief spell with Atlético Madrid, he joined Monterrey and continued his progress as a productive striker. His Monterrey period established him as a mobile centre-forward, with movement across the front line, pressing and link play complementing his finishing. Berterame became a Mexican citizen in 2024 and, having not represented Argentina at senior level, made his Mexico debut later that year. He is now associated with Inter Miami, adding forward options after his successful rise through Mexican football.
