Giorgi Arabidze

Giorgi Arabidze is a Georgian forward who was born in Vani on 4 March 1998. He developed at Locomotive Tbilisi and made an early impact in Georgia’s top flight before moving to Shakhtar Donetsk in June 2015. At Shakhtar, Arabidze scored in the UEFA Youth League against Malmö FF and made a limited number of senior appearances. He later continued his career abroad with C.D. Nacional, Adanaspor and Rotor Volgograd before returning to Georgia with Torpedo Kutaisi in 2022. With Torpedo, he finished as the league’s top scorer with 14 goals in 2023 and received the Midfielder of the Year award. Arabidze debuted for Georgia against Serbia in 2017, then scored his first international goal against Latvia two days later. Primarily used as a winger or attacking midfielder, he is noted for close control, cutting inside and left-footed finishing.
