Francisco José García Torres

Fran García is a Spanish left-back, born Francisco José García Torres in Bolaños de Calatrava in 1999. He began at Bolaños CF before joining Real Madrid’s academy in 2013 and progressing to Real Madrid Castilla ahead of the 2018–19 season. García made his senior Real Madrid debut in December 2018 against UD Melilla in the Copa del Rey, providing an assist. In September 2020, he moved to Rayo Vallecano on loan, where his pace, overlapping runs and crossing developed under Andoni Iraola. He helped Rayo win promotion to La Liga in 2021 and established himself as a demanding runner on the left flank. Real Madrid later brought Fran García back in 2023, completing his route from academy prospect to first-team defender. Listed with Real Betis, García can also contribute as a wing-back, using acceleration and anticipation to recover defensively while supplying width in possession.
