Francisco José Beltrán Peinado

Fran Beltrán, born Francisco José Beltrán Peinado in Madrid, is a Spanish central midfielder. He developed in Getafe’s academy before joining Rayo Vallecano in 2013, where he progressed from the reserves to the senior side. Beltrán made his professional debut in the Segunda División and became a regular as Rayo won the division and secured promotion to La Liga. In 2018, he moved to Celta Vigo, making his top-flight debut against Espanyol and establishing himself in midfield. During his Celta spell, Fran Beltrán became a captain and one of the club’s most experienced midfielders, valued for short passing, ball circulation and defensive anticipation. He later joined Girona, adding a new chapter to his Spanish top-flight career. Beltrán represented Spain from under-17 to under-21 level and made his senior debut in the 2021 friendly win over Lithuania.
