Felipe de Andrade Vieira

Felipe Andrade is a Brazilian defender born in Boa Viagem on 29 May 2002. He developed at Fluminense’s Xerém academy after joining the club’s youth setup in 2017. He progressed through the under-17, under-20 and under-23 teams, helping Fluminense win the 2022 Campeonato Carioca under-20 title. Andrade made his senior debut for Fluminense in Série A on 21 June 2023, appearing as a second-half substitute against Atlético Mineiro. He later moved to the United States, joining Houston Dynamo 2 on loan in February 2025. After six MLS NEXT Pro appearances, the loan was converted into a first-team contract in May, and Houston made the transfer permanent in September 2025. At Houston, Andrade has developed from a central defender into a versatile left-sided defender, contributing in build-up and attacking phases. He also scored for the Dynamo against Phoenix Rising in the U.S. Open Cup.
