Fábio Daniel Ferreira Vieira

Fábio Daniel Ferreira Vieira is a Portuguese attacking midfielder born in Santa Maria da Feira on 30 May 2000. He began playing with Argoncilhe FC before joining the FC Porto academy at eight. Vieira progressed through Porto’s youth teams and scored in the club’s 2019 UEFA Youth League final victory over Chelsea. He made his senior debut in June 2020 and became an important creative presence for Porto, recording six goals and 14 assists in the 2021–22 league season. Arsenal signed Fábio Vieira in 2022, giving him experience in the Premier League and a role focused on chance creation around the final third. He has also represented Portugal at youth level and was named player of the tournament at the 2021 European Under-21 Championship. Right-footed but noted for his technical passing, Vieira can operate as a No. 10 or from a wide position.
