Fabián Ruiz Peña

Fabián Ruiz is a Spanish midfielder born on 3 April 1996 in Los Palacios y Villafranca. He developed at Real Betis after beginning with local side EF La Unión, and progressed through the Andalusian club’s academy. Fabián made his senior breakthrough at Betis, with a loan spell at Elche in 2017 forming part of his early development. In 2018, he moved to Napoli, where he broadened his game across different midfield roles during four seasons in Italy. He joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2022 and remains part of the French club’s squad. At PSG, Fabián has combined progressive passing with movement into advanced areas while also contributing to midfield control. Internationally, he represented Spain at youth level, helping the under-21s win the 2019 European Championship, before scoring twice as Spain won Euro 2024.
