Fabian Wohlmuth

Fabian Wohlmuth is an Austrian defender who developed through the Burgenland football system. Born on 25 June 2002, he began at SC Pinkafeld in 2009 before joining the AKA Burgenland academy. In 2019, Wohlmuth moved into senior football with SV Mattersburg II, gaining experience before the club’s insolvency. He joined SV Lafnitz in 2020 and spent three seasons competing in Austria’s 2. Liga, making 29 league appearances in 2022/23 and providing three assists. Wohlmuth then transferred to SV Ried, where he recorded five goals and seven assists in 27 league matches during 2023/24. His performances earned a move to Wolfsberger AC in July 2025 and introduced him to the Austrian Bundesliga. At Wolfsberger, Wohlmuth has been used across the right side and also covered central and left-back roles. He has represented Austria at under-21 level.
