Florian Wiegele
Florian Wiegele is an Austrian goalkeeper born on 21 March 2001. Standing 2.05 metres tall, he began his senior development with SK Sturm Graz’s reserve team in 2017 before moving to SV Lebring in 2019 and FC Gleisdorf 09 in 2022. At Gleisdorf, he made 24 appearances in the Austrian third tier. Wiegele joined DSV Leoben in 2023 and recorded 12 league appearances in the Austrian Second League. Viktoria Plzeň signed him ahead of the 2024–25 season, then loaned him to Grazer AK, where he made 15 Bundesliga appearances. Returning to Plzeň, he has featured in six Europa League matches and kept three clean sheets. Wiegele was also included in Austria’s squad for friendlies against Ghana and South Korea in early 2026.
