Federico Martín Villar
Federico Martín Villar is an Argentine defender born on 24 November 1985. He developed in the youth system of Club Atlético Mitre before beginning senior football with San Martín de Burzaco in the 2007–08 season. In January 2008, Villar moved to PFC Spartak Varna in Bulgaria, making one league appearance, then returned to Argentina. His subsequent career included Alianza de Arteaga, Argentino de Rosario, Central Córdoba and two spells with Boca Río Gallegos. In 2018, he moved to Gibraltar, joining Mons Calpe before spending four seasons with St Joseph’s from 2019 to 2023. After a season at Manchester 62, Villar joined Magpies in July 2024. He has also featured in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying with St Joseph’s and Magpies, extending a career across Argentine, Bulgarian and Gibraltar football.
