Frederick Takyi

Frederick Takyi is a Ghanaian defender who developed with Charity Stars before moving to Europe. He joined FC Arouca in Portugal in January 2020 and was subsequently loaned to Moreirense and FC Pedras Rubras during the 2020/21 season. Takyi continued his Portuguese journey with SC Mirandela in 2021/22, then represented Pevidém SC, including involvement in the Taça de Portugal. In 2024/25, he played for SC Vila Real in the Campeonato de Portugal, appearing in league and cup football. In July 2025, Takyi moved to Moldovan club Milsami Orhei, stepping into top-flight and European competition. During the 2025/26 campaign, he appeared in UEFA Champions League and Conference League qualifying matches. At Milsami, Takyi has operated primarily on the left side of defence while contributing to the club’s league campaign.
