François-Joseph Sollacaro

François-Joseph Sollacaro is a French goalkeeper from Ajaccio who has spent his senior career with AC Ajaccio. Born in Ajaccio on 21 March 1994, he joined the club’s youth system in 2003 and developed there for more than a decade. Sollacaro signed professional terms in May 2014, beginning a long period in which he largely served as a deputy and made limited first-team appearances. His opportunities included cup football and, during Ajaccio’s 2022–23 Ligue 1 campaign, six league matches. In 2024–25, he moved into a more prominent role, playing 29 matches and recording six clean sheets. Standing 1.82 metres tall, Sollacaro has been described as a goalkeeper comfortable distributing long and advancing from his line to intercept through-balls. He remains linked with Ajaccio, the club that has shaped his entire football career.
