Francisco Andrés Sierralta Carvallo

Francisco Andrés Sierralta Carvallo is a Chilean centre-back born in Santiago on 6 May 1997. He developed at Universidad Católica, initially playing as a striker before moving into defence, and scored his first professional goal against O’Higgins in 2016. He moved to Udinese in 2017, gaining experience in Italy with Parma before continuing his development. In 2020, Sierralta joined Watford, where his physical defending and work in the back line helped the club secure promotion to the Premier League. He remained with Watford through 2025, becoming an established defender during his English spell. Sierralta has also represented Chile, including at the 2021 Copa América and in World Cup qualifying. In June 2025, he moved to Auxerre, beginning a new chapter in France as a tall, positionally aware centre-back.
