Fredrik Oppegård

Fredrik Oppegård is a Norwegian left-back born in Oslo on 7 August 2002. He developed with KFUM-Kameratene Oslo and Vålerenga before joining PSV Eindhoven after an internship in 2018 and a permanent move in 2019. At PSV, he progressed through the academy and Jong PSV, making 60 appearances for the reserve side before debuting for the senior team in 2020. He gained Eredivisie experience on loan at Go Ahead Eagles from January to June 2023, making nine appearances. Oppegård won the KNVB Cup in 2021–22 and three Johan Cruyff Shields with PSV in 2021, 2022 and 2023. In January 2025, he joined Auxerre permanently on a three-and-a-half-year contract. A left-footed defender, Oppegård can also operate as a left wing-back or in wider midfield roles, and he has represented Norway at under-21 level, including the 2023 European Championship.
