Joseph Fabrice Ondoa Ebogo

Joseph Fabrice Ondoa Ebogo is a Cameroonian goalkeeper born in Yaoundé on 24 December 1995. He developed at the Samuel Eto’o Academy before joining Barcelona’s La Masia system in 2009. Ondoa was part of Barcelona’s 2013–14 UEFA Youth League-winning squad and moved into senior football after leaving the club in 2016. He subsequently played in Spain, including spells with Pobla de Mafumet, Gimnàstic and Sevilla B, before finding more regular football at Belgian club Oostende. His later European affiliations included Nîmes, FK Auda and RFS. At international level, Ondoa debuted for Cameroon in 2014 and became a prominent goalkeeper for the Indomitable Lions. His defining achievement came at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations, where he helped Cameroon win the title and saved Sadio Mané’s decisive quarter-final penalty against Senegal.
