Felix Kalu Nmecha
Felix Kalu Nmecha is a German midfielder born in Hamburg on 10 October 2000. He developed in Hamburg before joining Manchester City’s academy in 2008, progressing through the club’s youth system and reaching the Elite Development Squad. Nmecha made his senior debut for City in January 2019 in an EFL Cup semi-final against Burton Albion. In 2020, he assisted João Cancelo in a Champions League win over Olympiacos. Seeking regular first-team football, Nmecha moved to VfL Wolfsburg on a free transfer in 2021 and established himself in the Bundesliga during the 2022/23 season. He scored twice against Bochum and earned his first senior Germany cap in March 2023. Borussia Dortmund signed Nmecha in July 2023, and he has since operated across central midfield roles for the German club.
