Florian Lorenz Müller

Florian Lorenz Müller is a German goalkeeper born in Saarlouis on 13 November 1997. He began playing in the Saarland region with FV Lebach, before joining 1. FC Saarbrücken in 2010. In 2013, Müller entered the FSV Mainz 05 academy, progressed through its youth sides, and signed his first professional contract in 2016. He made his senior debut for Mainz's second team in the 3. Liga before appearing in the Bundesliga in March 2018. In 2020, he moved to SC Freiburg on loan and took on a regular role, gaining valuable top-flight experience. His Freiburg spell led VfB Stuttgart to sign him in 2021, while he also represented Germany at under-19, under-20 and under-21 levels and was selected for the Tokyo Olympics. Müller returned to SC Freiburg in July 2023, joining a goalkeeping group that included Noah Atubolu and Benjamin Uphoff.
