Florent Mollet
Florent Mollet is a French midfielder born in Fontaine-lès-Dijon on 19 November 1991. He developed at Dijon and made his professional Ligue 2 debut against Guingamp in July 2012. After four goals in 75 league appearances for Dijon, he moved to Créteil in 2015, scoring 11 times in 36 games despite the club’s relegation. Mollet joined Metz in 2016 and, after a scoreless first Ligue 1 season, scored seven league goals in 2017–18, including two against Marseille. In 2018, he transferred to Montpellier, where he made 126 appearances and scored 21 goals while becoming an important creative midfielder. He moved to Schalke 04 in 2022 before returning to France with Nantes in January 2023. Mollet now plays for Lausanne-Sport, continuing a career shaped by passing, set-piece delivery and the ability to operate in advanced or deeper midfield roles.
