Filip Lichý
Filip Lichý is a Slovak central midfielder born in Banská Bystrica on 25 January 2001. He developed at Slovan Bratislava, where he moved into senior football during the 2019–20 season. He made his first-team debut against AS Trenčín in February 2020, then started the following league round against Nitra. He was part of Slovan’s league-and-cup-winning squads between 2019 and 2021, before an ACL injury interrupted his progress in 2020. Lichý subsequently spent loan spells with Ružomberok from 2021 to 2023, gaining senior experience and appearing in Europa Conference League qualifying matches. He then joined Dukla Prague on loan for the 2024–25 season. The midfielder later became associated with FK Košice, where his central presence continued to provide balance between defensive work and possession. Filip Lichý’s career reflects a progression from Slovan’s academy pathway to increasingly varied senior roles.
