Fedde Leysen

Fedde Leysen is a Belgian defender whose development took him from youth football in Belgium to the PSV Eindhoven academy. At PSV, Leysen refined his work on the ball and progressed into senior football with Jong PSV in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. He spent three seasons there, gaining experience in a demanding technical competition. Leysen was also part of the PSV squad that won the KNVB Cup in 2022–23, while he helped PSV Under-21s win the Premier League International Cup. In June 2023, he returned to Belgium to join Union Saint-Gilloise. With Union, Leysen developed into a regular centre-back and contributed during the club’s successful 2024–25 campaign. He lifted the Belgian Cup and Belgian Super Cup, and his profile reflects a modern defender comfortable contributing to build-up play as well as defending.
