Filip Krovinović

Filip Krovinović is a Croatian midfielder born in Zagreb on 29 August 1995. He developed in Zagreb, broke through with NK Zagreb, and helped the club win the 2013–14 Druga HNL title. In 2015, Krovinović moved to Portugal with Rio Ave, where his performances earned him a transfer to Benfica in 2017. An anterior cruciate ligament injury in January 2018 sidelined him for nearly ten months, although he returned to help Benfica win the 2018–19 Primeira Liga. Seeking regular football, he joined West Bromwich Albion on loan in 2019 and contributed to their promotion before later spending time with Nottingham Forest. Krovinović returned to Croatia with Hajduk Split in 2021 and helped win consecutive Croatian Cups in 2021–22 and 2022–23. He has represented Croatia at under-21 level and is currently listed with Gremio.
