Frans Krätzig
Frans Krätzig is a German midfielder born in Nürnberg on 14 January 2003. He developed in his hometown before joining Bayern München’s campus in 2017, progressing through the club’s youth system and Bayern München II. Initially an attacking midfielder, Krätzig was later used as a left-sided defender, a role that drew on his passing and ability to build play. He announced himself during Bayern’s 2023 preseason tour by scoring a late volley against Liverpool in Singapore. Krätzig made his Bundesliga debut against Bochum in September 2023 and later scored his first competitive goal in the DFB-Pokal. After a spell with VfB Stuttgart in 2024, he left Bayern München and joined Red Bull Salzburg in 2025, continuing his development with the Austrian club.
