Franko Kovačević is a centre-forward who attacks space and runs behind the line. Franko Kovačević debuted for Hajduk Split in 2017, then moved to Hoffenheim with loans to FC Cincinnati and Pafos. He broke through in Slovenia with Celje. A turning point came as he rose to top-scorer status in 2025/26. By January 2026, Franko Kovačević joined Ferencváros on a contract through 2029. He links play with one-touch layoffs and holds the ball under pressure. He presses high and checks short before spinning in behind. He finishes moves quickly, getting shots off with purpose.
