Filip Kostić

Filip Kostić is a Serbian left midfielder, born in Kragujevac on 1 November 1992. He developed his professional career in the Netherlands with Groningen before moving to VfB Stuttgart in 2014. Kostić later joined Hamburger SV, where his direct running and delivery from the left became prominent despite the club’s difficulties. He moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, initially on loan in 2018, and became a key figure on the flank. Kostić helped Frankfurt win the 2022 UEFA Europa League, earning the tournament’s Player of the Season award and finishing as its leading assist provider. In 2022, he transferred to Juventus, continuing as a left-sided player in a system that used wing-backs. Kostić has also represented Serbia internationally and remains associated with the national squad.
