Ferdi Erenay Kadıoğlu

Ferdi Erenay Kadıoğlu is a Turkish left-back born in Arnhem, Netherlands, on 7 October 1999. He joined NEC Nijmegen’s academy in 2008 and progressed from a creative midfield role into senior football. Kadıoğlu became NEC’s youngest Eredivisie player in 2016, later contributing 11 goals and 16 assists across two seasons in the Dutch top two tiers. In 2018, he moved to Fenerbahçe, where his development included a transition from attacking midfield and wing play to wing-back and full-back duties. He established himself as a regular starter and helped Fenerbahçe win the Turkish Cup in 2023. After representing the Netherlands through under-21 level, Kadıoğlu chose Türkiye in 2022 and played every minute of the country’s run to the Euro 2024 quarter-finals. Brighton signed him in August 2024, giving Kadıoğlu a Premier League platform for his energetic, ball-carrying style and positional versatility.
