Farid Ikene

Farid Ikene is a Luxembourgish midfielder born on 15 December 2000. He developed in Luxembourg, spending his formative years with F91 Düdelingen before moving through FC Differdange 03 and Progrès Niederkorn. Ikene joined Racing FC Union Luxembourg in July 2019, beginning his senior career with the capital club. In January 2022, he moved on loan to Danish side Jammerbugt FC, gaining experience in the 1st Division before returning to Luxembourg. At Racing, Ikene has operated as a central or defensive midfielder, contributing to build-up play and adapting between deeper and more advanced roles. He also represented Luxembourg at under-21 level, including the 2023 European Championship qualifying campaign. Ikene remains part of Racing’s midfield, where his progression reflects experience gained both domestically and abroad.
