Festy Oseiwe Ebosele

Festy Oseiwe Ebosele is an Irish defender who operates mainly as a right-sided full-back or wing-back. Born in Enniscorthy in 2002, he began with Moyne Rangers in 2010, then moved to Bray Wanderers in 2015. In 2018, Ebosele joined Derby County, where his pace and athleticism helped him progress into senior football. He made his first-team debut in an FA Cup tie against Chorley in January 2021, after a COVID-19 outbreak affected Derby’s squad. Under Wayne Rooney, he became a regular and scored his first senior goal against Millwall in November 2021. Ebosele subsequently moved to Udinese on a free transfer and adapted to a 3-5-2 system as a wing-back. He also spent time on loan at Watford before joining Başakşehir in January 2025. At international level, he made his Republic of Ireland debut against France in September 2023.
