Florent Sanchez Da Silva

Florent Sanchez Da Silva is a French midfielder born in Vaulx-en-Velin on 2 April 2003. He began at US Majolaine Meyzieu before entering the Olympique Lyonnais academy in 2010, progressing through its youth categories. Sanchez Da Silva signed his first professional contract with Lyon in December 2020 and made his senior debut in a 3–0 Ligue 1 win over Strasbourg in February 2021. Seeking regular football, he joined Villefranche on loan in early 2022, where he operated as a deep-lying playmaker during the club’s promotion push. In 2023, he spent the second half of the season with FC Volendam, making 13 Eredivisie appearances and scoring once. He then played for RWDM during the 2023–24 Belgian Pro League season, recording 13 appearances and two goals. Sanchez Da Silva has also represented France at the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup.
