Federico Ceccherini

Federico Ceccherini is an Italian centre-back born in Livorno on 11 May 1992. He developed in Livorno’s academy before entering senior football and establishing himself with the club. In 2016, Ceccherini moved to Crotone, where he became a regular Serie A defender and built a reputation for competing in demanding relegation battles. His performances led to a 2018 transfer to Fiorentina, where he served as a dependable defensive option in a squad with European ambitions. Ceccherini later broadened his experience with Fatih Karagümrük in Turkey, joining the Süper Lig side on loan in 2023. Standing 1.87 metres tall, he combines a physical approach with positional awareness and can operate in a back three or four.
