Franco Ezequiel Carboni

Franco Ezequiel Carboni is an Argentine defender who plays at left-back. Born in Buenos Aires on 4 April 2003, he developed at Lanús before moving to Italy and joining Inter’s youth system in January 2020. At Inter, Carboni converted from an earlier attacking role into a left-sided full-back or wing-back and was part of the club’s Primavera 1 title-winning team in 2021–22. He then gained senior experience on loan, including spells with Cagliari, Monza and Ternana. During his time at Ternana, he scored his first professional goal against Cittadella in January 2024. Carboni also spent a short period with River Plate before returning to Italy, where he continued his development with Venezia. He later joined Parma, where his 1.90-metre frame, left-footed delivery and ability to operate in different defensive systems add versatility.
