Facundo Callejo attacks space and drifts runs in behind as a mobile striker, twisting into goal moments with Facundo Julián Callejo at the heart of Cusco’s frontline. Later, he began his senior career at Colón de Santa Fe in 2012. Later, he shone on loan. He scored nine goals in 21 appearances on loan at Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy in 2013–14. Callejo has international experience across South America with LDU Loja, Carabobo FC and other clubs. The turning point came in 2025 with Cusco FC, where Callejo hit 25 goals in 33 games and helped win the Liga 1 title. As a mobile striker, Callejo links play with one-touch layoffs and presses high to disrupt the build. Facundo Callejo’s runs create separation, especially when attacking the back post. He finishes moves quickly and keeps defenders honest in the box.
