Fabian Bredlow

Fabian Bredlow is a German goalkeeper born in Berlin on 2 March 1995. He developed in the capital with BFC Preussen, Lichtenrader BC and FC Hertha 03 Zehlendorf before joining RB Leipzig in 2012. Although he did not make a senior appearance for Leipzig, Bredlow gained professional experience on loan at FC Liefering during the 2014/15 season, making 29 appearances in Austria’s second tier. He then moved to Hallescher FC in 2015 and established himself in the 3. Liga, recording 68 appearances across two seasons. In 2017, Bredlow joined 1. FC Nürnberg and helped the club earn promotion to the Bundesliga in 2017/18, playing 22 league matches. He moved to VfB Stuttgart in July 2019 and later became a key starter during the club’s successful fight against relegation in 2022/23. At Stuttgart, he has since continued as an experienced deputy whose goalkeeping combines shot-stopping with distribution and readiness to step into demanding matches.
