Florian Bohnert

Florian Bohnert is a Luxembourgish defender who has developed from an attacking wide player into a versatile right-back or wing-back. Born on 9 November 1997, he began with Avenir Beggen before joining Racing FC Union Luxembourg and moving to Germany. From 2013 to 2016, Bohnert continued his development at 1. FC Saarbrücken, then spent time with FC Schalke 04 II. He entered senior football at FK Pirmasens and later played for FSV Mainz 05 II, where his attacking background remained part of his profile. In 2021, he returned to Luxembourg with Progrès Niederkorn, combining club football with involvement in the Luxembourg national team. Bohnert moved to SC Bastia in January 2023 and featured regularly in Ligue 2, contributing from defensive and wide positions.
