Filip Bačkulja

Filip Bačkulja is a Serbian defender, born on 25 June 2002, who stands 1.87 metres tall. He began his development with FK Kiker Kraljevo before continuing at FK Brodarac in Belgrade. In 2020, Bačkulja moved to Austria, joining LASK’s reserve setup, FC Juniors OÖ, where he remained until 2022. He returned to Serbia with Metalac Gornji Milanovac, first on loan and later permanently, and built senior experience across the Super Liga and First League. Primarily a centre-back, he has also operated at left-back, offering a left-footed option in defensive systems. Bačkulja represented Serbia at under-20 and under-21 level in 2021, including an under-21 debut against Russia. He later joined Novi Pazar in 2024 and is currently listed with Koper, continuing a career shaped by positional flexibility and defensive responsibilities.
