Filip Đuričić

Filip Đuričić is a Serbian midfielder born in Obrenovac on January 30, 1992. He developed in Serbia, including the Red Star Belgrade youth system, and had early spells at Olympiacos and Radnički Obrenovac. After establishing himself at Heerenveen between 2010 and 2013, Đuričić moved to Benfica. At Benfica, he won the Primeira Liga, Taça de Portugal and League Cup treble in 2013–14, before loan spells with Mainz, Southampton and Anderlecht. He later played for Sampdoria and revived his Serie A career at Sassuolo, where he worked under Roberto De Zerbi as an attacking midfielder able to move between the lines and flank. After returning to Sampdoria in 2022, he joined Panathinaikos in 2023. Đuričić has represented Serbia since 2012 and was selected for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, appearing against Cameroon and Switzerland.
