Evander da Silva Ferreira

Evander, whose full name is Evander da Silva Ferreira, is a Brazilian midfielder born in Rio de Janeiro on 9 June 1998. He developed at Vasco da Gama after joining the club’s academy in 2007 and made his senior debut there in 2016. During his time with Vasco, he also featured for Brazil’s youth teams and helped Brazil win the South American Under-17 Championship. In 2018, Evander moved to FC Midtjylland, initially on loan before making the transfer permanent. Across five seasons in Denmark, he developed from an attacking player into a midfielder capable of operating in a deeper double pivot, while contributing in domestic and European competition. He joined the Portland Timbers in December 2022 and returned to a more advanced creative role. Evander moved to FC Cincinnati in February 2025, continuing his career in Major League Soccer.
