Enric Saborit Teixidor

Enric Saborit is a Spanish defender who was born in Barcelona in 1992. He developed at Espanyol before joining Athletic Club’s Lezama academy after moving to Vitoria-Gasteiz at 16. He spent three seasons with Bilbao Athletic before making Athletic’s first-team La Liga debut against Osasuna in August 2013. A 2014–15 loan at Mallorca gave him further senior experience. In 2018, Saborit moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he established himself primarily as a left-back and later also operated at centre-back. During six seasons in Israel, he helped Maccabi win three league titles, a State Cup, three Toto Cups and two Super Cups, while also scoring a Europa League winner against Sivasspor in 2020. He later played for Gaziantep FK and Deportes Iquique before joining AEK Larnaca, continuing his career as a versatile left-sided defender.
