Aritz Elustondo Irribaria

Aritz Elustondo Irribaria is a Spanish defender, primarily a right-back, born in Beasain on March 28, 1994. He developed in Real Sociedad's academy and in 2012 joined hometown SD Beasain on loan, making his senior debut there. Returning in 2013, he continued with Real Sociedad B in Segunda División B and earned a first-team opportunity early in 2015. He made his first-team debut in the Copa del Rey in January 2015, followed days later by his La Liga debut, and scored his first professional goal later that month. Initially used at right-back, Elustondo has also operated centrally, contributing through positioning, aerial contests and build-up play. Under Eusebio Sacristán, he became a regular and extended his Real Sociedad contract through 2020, establishing himself as a long-serving product of the club's system.
