Elijah Wynder

Elijah Wynder is an American midfielder who developed through Louisville Collegiate High School. In April 2019, aged 16, he signed the first USL Academy contract with Louisville City FC, allowing him to train and play with professionals while retaining NCAA eligibility. After signing a full professional contract in December 2020, Wynder missed the 2021 season following a serious leg injury. He returned in 2022 with FC Tucson on loan, making 12 appearances before rejoining Louisville. That year, he scored the extra-time winner against Tampa Bay Rowdies in the USL Championship Eastern Conference Final and won Comeback Player of the Year. In 2024, his final Louisville season, Wynder recorded 33 appearances and six goals, earning USL Championship Young Player of the Year honors. The LA Galaxy acquired him in January 2025, and he made 18 MLS appearances and scored twice in his first season.
