Erkin Tapalov
Erkin Tapalov is a Kazakhstan midfielder born in Oral on 3 September 1993. He developed in the youth system of hometown club Akzhayik and made his senior debut for the side in a 2011 Kazakhstan Cup match against Taraz. In 2015, Tapalov helped Akzhayik win the Kazakhstan First Division, securing promotion to the Premier League. After leaving Akzhayik, he continued his top-flight career with Shakhter Karagandy, Caspiy Aktau, Turan and Kyzyl-Zhar. Tapalov joined Tobol Kostanay in 2024 and won the Kazakhstan Super Cup with the club. He then moved to Kairat Almaty, where he remains part of the squad. At 175 centimetres, Tapalov has been used across midfield and in wider or defensive roles, offering managers positional flexibility.
