Edvard Sandvik Tagseth
Edvard Sandvik Tagseth is a Norwegian midfielder born on 23 January 2001. He developed in Norway before moving into senior football with Rosenborg in August 2019. Tagseth made his first-team debut in a Europa League match against PSV Eindhoven that October, then started a league game three days later. Across five seasons at Rosenborg, he grew into a flexible midfielder capable of covering defensive roles and supporting transitions. In 2024, his final full season in Norway, he scored five goals in 26 appearances. Nashville SC signed Tagseth in January 2025, bringing him to Major League Soccer. He played 36 league matches in his first season and helped Nashville reach the U.S. Open Cup final. Tagseth combines central midfield work with positional versatility, having also been used in deeper or wider roles.
