Enda John Stevens

Enda John Stevens is a Republic of Ireland defender who primarily operates at left-back or left wing-back. Born in Dublin, he developed at Cherry Orchard before joining UCD in 2008 and later St Patrick’s Athletic. Stevens began his first spell with Shamrock Rovers in 2010 and was part of the side that reached the Europa League group stage, including the extra-time victory over Partizan Belgrade. Aston Villa signed him in January 2012, after which he spent time on loan with Notts County, Doncaster Rovers and Northampton Town. He joined Portsmouth in 2015 and was named in the League Two PFA Team of the Year. In 2017, Stevens moved to Sheffield United, helping them win promotion to the Premier League in 2019 and featuring in their top-flight campaigns. He later played for Stoke City before returning to Shamrock Rovers, and made his Republic of Ireland debut in 2018.
