Emile Smith Rowe

Emile Smith Rowe is an English attacking midfielder born in Croydon on 28 July 2000. He developed at Arsenal’s Hale End academy from age nine, progressing to the Under-23s before his senior breakthrough. A loan spell at RB Leipzig brought limited first-team exposure, while a subsequent loan at Huddersfield Town gave him Championship experience and included a late winner against West Bromwich Albion. Returning to Arsenal, Smith Rowe became central to the side’s revival after starting the 3-1 Boxing Day victory over Chelsea in 2020. In 2021-22, he scored 10 Premier League goals, becoming Arsenal’s first Hale End graduate since Cesc Fàbregas to reach double figures in a campaign. After injury interruptions, Smith Rowe joined Fulham in August 2024 and scored on his home debut against Leicester City. He offers progressive carries, intelligent movement between the lines and versatility centrally or from the left.
