Erik Silye
Erik Silye is a Hungarian defender born in Orosháza on 12 June 1996. He began his development with Orosháza FC before joining the Ferencváros youth system in 2007. Silye gained senior experience with Soroksár SC, spending the 2016–18 period there on loan. He then moved to Mezőkövesd Zsóry FC, where he played from 2018 to 2020 and established himself in Hungary’s top division. From 2020 to 2023, Silye represented Vasas FC, contributing to the club’s push for promotion and its return to the top flight. He joined Paks in 2023, continuing as a left-sided defender and helping the club win the 2024 Hungarian Cup. Silye remains part of Paks’s squad.
