Eddie Livington Segura Martínez

Eddie Livington Segura Martínez is a Colombian centre-back from Pereira who developed at Deportivo Pereira. He made his professional debut for the club in 2013 and spent four seasons in Colombia’s second division, recording 53 appearances and one goal. In 2017, Segura moved to Atlético Huila, stepping into Colombia’s top flight and becoming the team’s captain by 2018. His performances there led to a move to Los Angeles FC, initially on a six-month loan in November 2018. Segura became a regular in LAFC’s defence and helped the club win the 2019 Supporters’ Shield. After returning from an ACL injury and rehabilitation, he contributed to LAFC’s 2022 MLS Cup and another Supporters’ Shield. Primarily a centre-back, Segura has also been used on the left in a flexible defensive structure, adding reliable distribution to his covering and recovery work.
