Eduard Sarapiy

Eduard Sarapiy is a Ukrainian midfielder, born in Zaporizhzhia on 12 May 1999. He developed with Metalurh Zaporizhzhia before joining Dynamo Kyiv’s academy in 2010, where he spent six years. After returning to amateur football with Tavria-Skif Rozdol, Sarapiy rejoined Metalurh in 2017 and recorded 31 goals in 86 appearances through 2021. His performances led to a move to Metalist Kharkiv, followed by a loan to Dnipro-1 in 2022. Sarapiy made his Ukrainian Premier League debut against Dynamo Kyiv on 28 August 2022, scoring in Dnipro-1’s 3–0 win. At Dnipro-1, he also gained European experience in Europa Conference League qualifying and Champions League qualification, while increasingly operating at centre-back. He later joined Polessya, where his distribution, aerial work and ability to contribute from deep have supported his role, and he has been involved with Ukraine squads, including a 2026 World Cup qualifying call-up.
