Edwin Quarshie

Edwin Quarshie is a Ghanaian midfielder born on 25 October 1995. He developed in France and was part of Stade de Reims’ squad that won the 2014 Coupe Gambardella, although an injury interrupted his route into professional football. Quarshie rebuilt his career with Sablé FC before joining Villefranche, where he helped the club reach the Championnat National. He then played for Bourg-en-Bresse and Sedan, continuing his progression through France’s lower divisions. At GOAL FC, Quarshie recorded eight goals in 28 matches during the 2021–22 campaign. In June 2022, he moved to Le Mans, where he later became captain and helped the club secure promotion to Ligue 2 in 2025. Primarily a holding midfielder, Quarshie protects the defence, competes for possession and can contribute further forward, including a half-volley on his Ligue 2 debut.
