Ethan Rupert Pinnock

Ethan Rupert Pinnock is a Jamaican international centre-back born in London on 29 May 1993. After leaving Millwall’s academy, he developed at Dulwich Hamlet, combining part-time football with coaching and university study. A move from the wing into central defence during his Dulwich years helped define his career, and he made nearly 200 appearances before departing in 2016. Pinnock turned professional with Forest Green Rovers, helping the club win promotion to the Football League in 2017. He then joined Barnsley, contributing to their return to the Championship and earning selection in the 2018–19 PFA and EFL League One teams of the year. Brentford signed him in 2019, and he played in the 2021 Championship play-off final victory over Swansea City before making his Premier League debut against Arsenal. Pinnock has since remained a Brentford defender while representing Jamaica in international football, including the 2024 Copa América and 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
