Erik Piloyan

Erik Piloyan is an Armenian centre-back who developed at FC Urartu. He progressed through Urartu’s youth system and joined the club’s reserve side, Urartu-2, in 2019, gaining senior experience in the Armenian First League. In July 2021, Piloyan moved to BKMA Yerevan on loan and made six appearances during the first half of the 2021–22 season before returning to Urartu in January 2022. He became part of Urartu’s successful 2022–23 campaign, when the club won the Armenian Premier League and Armenian Cup to complete a domestic double. Piloyan made his senior Armenia debut on 28 March 2023, playing the full match in a 2–2 friendly draw with Cyprus. He has since remained involved with Armenia while continuing to represent FC Urartu, operating primarily in central defence.
