Eric Dirk Oelschlägel

Eric Dirk Oelschlägel is a German goalkeeper born in Hoyerswerda on 20 September 1995. He developed at Dynamo Dresden before joining Werder Bremen in 2012, where he progressed through the club’s system and played for its reserve side. In June 2018, Oelschlägel moved to Borussia Dortmund, serving as a third-choice goalkeeper while also featuring for the club’s under-23 team. He made a notable senior appearance in the 2019 DFB-Pokal against Werder Bremen, making several important saves before Dortmund were eliminated on penalties after a 3–3 draw. Seeking regular opportunities, he joined FC Utrecht in October 2020 and later moved to FC Emmen in July 2022. His Dutch spells gave him first-team experience in the Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie. Oelschlägel subsequently provided goalkeeper depth for FC St. Pauli and is also registered with St. Pauli II.
